Greetings.

I'm Frankie Clarke.  I live in Maryland.

I've owned a lot of fords over the years, including a '61 Galaxie Starliner, '71 Boss 351 Mustang, '70 Cobra Torino, '70 Cyclone Spoiler and a
'67 Fairlane GT390.  I always regretted selling that '67 - It's my favorite body style of all the musclecars.  Oh, let's get one thing on the
record.  I'm a Ford guy, but I love ALL American muscle.  I've even owned a 70 1/2 Z28 and a 'Vette.  But I started with a '68 'stang, and I
guess the blue runs in my veins.

On August 23, 2003, I obtained what I fully expect to be my last musclecar, 'cause I'm never letting go of this one :).  Its a '66 Fairlane
500XL convertible.  Nothing super-rare or trick about it, but one of my favorite all-time cars.  (It is kinda rare... 4650 built)

I thought about restoring it to stock form, but quickly decided against it.  This car is not an "investment"...  it's a toy.  I'm going to build it
as if it was the early 70's (when I was in high school).  No over-sized radius wheels here; no fuel injection, no high-tech gadgetry... thus the name "Retro Vert".

For more info on the car, visit the journal page.  Take care, and thanx for visiting.
